Quick story

So yesterday I was sitting in the family room with my host family and Diego had a bag of little cookies called Cua Cua which are like little wafers covered in chocolate (if you have ever had Keebler fudge sticks that's basically what these were).  Anyhow, Blanca kept saying to Diego, "invitame por fa"  which means offer me one please but Diego just kept saying no and "míos" (mine).  My host dad was also saying invitame but Diego refused.  So finally, I turned to Diego and said, "Diego invitame!"  and he gave me a cookie without hesitation.  It was soooo funny and cute.  And I didn't even want a cookie, I just did it as an experiment :-)  Also, whenever Diego is over, he comes up to me and goes "hojas, hojas" (prounounced Ohas) because he wants to draw and hoja menas sheet, as in a sheet of paper.  It's fun that he is learning how to talk.  Sometimes I throw some english at him just to see how he will react and usually he just looks at me, but every once in awhile he will try to repeat what I said even though he doesn't know what it means.  :-)  What a cutie!  And yet I cannot say I'm too disappointed that he's living at his own house...the amount i see him is plenty. Haha
