SUMMER!

Hello!  I am back in the United States!  Woohoo!  While most people are complaining about the heat, I am thorougly enjoying the sunny warm weather!  Biking, walking, tennis, eating outside on our new deck!  Love it!  I have been back for just over a week and it has been rather full of events!  The day after I returned, I went to my friend Emily's bachelorette party and then her wedding on Saturday.  Her wedding was very beautiful and I had a lot of fun.  My cousin's boyfriend was my date for the night because my cousin was in the wedding which meant she was busy most of the night and Brian didn't really know anyone so I was in charge of him.  Haha.  Then on Sunday my mom had a surprise birthday party for me with all of my family and friends.  That was really fun and I was completely surprised!  She had told me that my grandparents were coming over to celebrate so that's what I was expecting, but I had been wondering about the quantity of food she had been preparing for just my grandparents - it made much more sense that a lot of people were coming over.  Monday I started working at the library again.  It is great to be back and to catch up with my librarian friends :-)  I am always surprised at the things that change while I am gone...silly things, like moving the copier (I went to make some copies and the copier wasn't there so I had to ask where it had gone, haha).  This summer the reading program is online for the first time so I had to learn that new system, which was fairly easy to catch on to and I like it a lot!  I don't really have much planned for the summer other than working an being outside, which is ok by me. :-)  I will be back at school soon enough.  I have a bunch of pictures from the end of my time in Peru that I have so far failed to load onto my computer, so perhaps I will do that tonight and post some pics on here ASAP!  As always, thanks for reading...I've had a request to continue writing here even though my study abroad has ended, so you may see some more updates from time to time.  I hope everyone is enjoying the summer!
